DJ NIKKI Beatnik is 'One of the World's Hottest DJ's (Time Out) and has had an amazingly varied career as a DJ, Producer & Presenter. She is Tour DJ for Kelis as well as having performed with many other artists including Kelly Rowland, Jay Z, Beyonce, Unklejam & Ronnie Woods. NIKKI has spun at top clubs, festivals and for endless high profile events & brands, from The Elle Style Awards & LFW to parties for Blackberry, Adidas, Tiger Beer & MTV. A strong character with boundless enthusiasm and love for music NIKKI is a maverick and innovator who has kicked down doors for female DJ's. DJ NIKKI has a unique DJ style which fuses all her musical influences and has allowed her to work at a fascinating array of gigs. From opening for Hip- Hop Artists to Fashion Gigs for Fashion Rocks. PFW, Vogue & Grazia to Art Exhibition Launches for esteemed artists such as Tomoko Takahashi.

DJ NIKKI Beatnik has been a musician all her life and trained as a classical cellist, attended music school from the age of 8, music and art have always been the main focus of her life. At 16 NIKKI bought her first set of belt- drive Technics and taught herself to DJ. NIKKI's first abundant mark on the London Club scene was the club night she founded at 57 Jermyn Street one of her early residencies which saw the likes of Madonna & NERD hanging out. Since then NIKKI has been resident for Ministry of Sound, presented her own Radio & TV programmers (Beatnik TV), spun for major brands from H&M to HTC and DJ'd all over the UK, Asia, the US, Scandinavia, Africa, Australia, NZ, South America and Europe.

A gifted turntablist NIKKI started out as a renowned hip-hop DJ, but had influences from early house, to jungle and all types of dance music. Producing beats has helped NIKKI to developing a DJ sound which spans influences from house, electronica, 80's and 90's hip-hop & pop, Drum & Bass and Reggae. DJ NIKKI's DJ sets go hard with the emphasis on bass heavy tunes.

Now obsessed with producing and writing records DJ NIKKI is one half of electronic band BEATNIK alongside her brother artist/producer STATIS. Their music has been described as the British Urban White Stripes and fuses influences from electronica to rock 80's drum & bass, disco & hip hop. Together Beatnik perform electric live gigs with their sound-system featuring their music performed by Live artists. They also make bespoke soundtracks for Fashion Shows, TV & Film.
